Ghansoli is a newly-built locality and is one of the nodes of Navi Mumbai. This locality has now transformed into a huge industrial area and has big companies like Reliance, Standard Alkali and Siemens.

The locality has been popular due to a Mookambika temple, which is one of the oldest landmarks in the area. Ghansoli has seen more demandrecently due to improvements in its connectivity.
