Historically known as home of Maratha Warrior, Wagholi is a town in Pune district in Maharashtra.
Named after the famous “Wagheshwar” temple, this place was a subtle and humble locale of
Pune and a prominent tourist destination until 2007.
Owing to the establishment of numerous IT companies and a smooth connectivity to major IT hubs
like Hadapsar, Hinjewadi etc, now Wagholi has transformed into a prominent IT hub. Also,

Location
Wagholi is strategically located on the Pune-Nagar Highway close to the Kharadi IT hub. Real
estate and commercial developers began to explore Wagholi as a potential location in 2007
due to a growing demand by the home buyers. Since then, Wagholi has witnessed a capital appreciation
of 5 to 7 percent annually. It has easy access to the industrial hubs of Sanaswadi, Ranjangaon,
Shirur and proximity to IT Hub of Kharadi.

Wagholi is just around eleven kms away from the Pune Airport which is a blessing and a relief
