Greater Kailash I Overview

Greater Kailash, colloquially referred to as GK, is an uptown in South Delhi and is surrounded by many other posh localities and numerous shopping complexes. It is amongst the upscale localities and is home to many well-known prosperous families. This area is divided into two spheres, GKI and GK II, all situated in and around the Outer Ring Road area. Greater Kailash was even termed as one of the safest places in India as per a survey done in 2009.

Then and now

This community came into existence in the early 1960’s when the Delhi Government permitted the private developers to start constructing localities and that’s when DLF builders developed this area.
